Our Feeder Pattern Schools

On January 30, 2020, our friends at Ida B. Wells Middle School hosted our 5th grade class to teach us about their amazing school. Hard to believe that these former Warriors are Wolves now!

We are proud to be part of the feeder pattern with our local school partners in Ward 4! After Whittier students have completed their journey with us, they will be able to attend our wonderful destination schools. Lucky for us, they’re just across the street and around the corner, so our alumni will still be close by as they grow from Warriors, to Wolves, to Colts!

What is a Feeder Pattern School?

A feeder-pattern school is a school that a student has the right to attend based on the completion of the terminal grade of a student’s current school. This assignment only happens during the years a student moves from elementary to middle school, or from middle school to high school, or from an education campus to high school.
